City & Guilds 6129 Certificate in Basic Plumbing Studies Level 2

This course will give you the knowledge and understanding needed to complete a Level 2 NVQ in plumbing. You will learn about key plumbing principles and the theory of areas such as:

• hot and cold water systems;
• sanitation systems;
• central heating systems (pipework); and
• electrical supply and safety.

Assessment is by multi-choice examination and practical tasks.

This training course is full time, tutor-led and lasts 12 weeks. Attendance times are 9:00am until 5:00pm Monday to Friday.
The course covers the City & Guilds 6129 level 2 certificate in basic plumbing skills. Once you have successfully completed the course you may begin work either as a self employed plumber, or by gaining employment with a plumbing company. The course is split between workshop and classroom based training. Students may keep issued hand tools after completing the course.
